2025 Projects
In 2025, JHA Project Impact returned to Amurire Village, continuing the work that began in 2024 and demonstrating a deep commitment to long-term, sustainable change. The team revisited Community Grammar School, Araromi Aperin, Ibadan, where only two classrooms could be renovated the previous year due to limited resources.
This time, JHA was able to complete a full-scale renovation of the entire school, transforming it into a safe, modern, and functional learning environment. The project included a fully renovated and newly built classrooms, a construction of new toilet facilities, a dedicated teachers’ lounge, and a brand-new chemistry and physics laboratories
What was once a severely damaged and unsafe structure is now a place of learning, dignity, and opportunity. The renovation restored not only the physical infrastructure of the school but also hope, pride, and access to quality education for its students. Children who once learned in unsafe conditions now have an environment that supports growth, curiosity, and long-term success—laying the foundation for a more promising future.
Beyond education, JHA expanded its water access initiatives to a neighboring community, Lana Village. There, the organization constructed another solar-powered borehole, providing reliable access to clean water for nearly 10,000 residents. This sustainable solution will significantly improve health outcomes, reduce water scarcity, and support daily life for families in the community.
The 2025 initiatives reflect JHA’s evolving impact—moving beyond short-term interventions to lasting transformation, ensuring that both education and basic human needs are met for generations to come.
